This speech was given 3 years after the United Nations declared colonialism a crime against humanity. The United Nations has asked the US government in 36 resolutions to give immediately Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.

It has been 54 years since President Kennedy said those words. The US government, however, continues today to ignore these UN resolutions, despite President Kennedy’s clear warning that those who do nothing to end injustice invite shame and violence. Those who fight for justice, Kennedy said, are right.

Join our permanent protests to force the US government to comply with the UN resolutions, because those who invite shame and violence don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/
